In fact, the achievements of our brewing craftsmen were recently recognized with a Gold Medal at the Brewing Industry International Awards – known in the industry as the Oscars of the Brewing Industry. Over the 119 year history of this award, our brewers are the only Canadians to have been awarded a Gold Medal for brewing excellence. The focus on quality has been recognized by the achievement of the quality certification standard ISO 9001, the highest level of excellence from the brewing industry set forth by the most respected quality assurance program in the world. In 1994, Pacific Western became the first North American brewery to achieve ISO certification. Every step of our brewing and packaging is certified the standard ISO 9001 certified.
