This was poured into a plastic pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking dark brown close to black color with nice fully clinging lacing surrounding the top of the glass as the head dissipated.
The smell had a huge emphatic roasty coffee bean and sweet to roasty chocolate. Light vanilla enters in as it warms.
The taste was mainly sweet and roasty smooth leading into a semi - sweet to dry and roasty edged out aftertaste. A light sweet sticky roasty coffee and chocolate rolls right on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionable to sipping aspect to it. Carbonation comes out super smooth and just allocates itself so nicely over my tongue in a rich and subtly smooth sort of way.
Overall, I say this was a very well done milk/sweet stout that will hold its own with the bigger ones on the market.
