Growlette from Andy.
This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipates at a nice pace. Moderate stringy lacing here and there.
The aroma starts with a nice resinous pine, bitter citrus rind, delicate wheat malt.
The flavor wraps it all together. Lingering sweet to bitter resin/citrus aftertaste. Dry sweet resin to citrus finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation rides fairly low. Dry bitterness is the harshness on my tongue.
Overall, this was a nice APWA, but it is quite like every other APWA beer that Fiddlehead does.
