Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a rich dark brown close to black color with a nice level white coat of a finger and a half’s worth of head. Dissipates so slow like a Guinness. Milky looking messy lace.
The aroma had rich creamy sweet espresso flowing over top of sweet chocolate malts. Sly dark chocolate. Some toast.
The flavor brings all of these aromas together nicely. Sweet with the bitterness. Sly roast. The aftertaste leans milky/creamy/espresso sweet. Definitely a sweet smooth finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a really nice smoothness to it. Carbonation seems to ride nice and low. Some roast hits in my tongue.
Overall, really nice milk/sweet stout that I could have again.
