This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt amber to red color with a sly finger’s worth of white foamy head. Subtle dissipation. Messy lace.
The aroma leans to some citrus to piney bitterness hops initially and then brings in a nice caramel to toffee backbone.
The flavor swiftly moves nicely between the malts to the hops. Really nice blend. Dry smooth clean hoppy to malty aftertaste rubbing against the finish nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Mild carbonation allows the malts and hops to work very nicely and blend pretty good.
Overall, hitting all of the spots of a red IPA, Zero Gravity made this one work nicely. I’d have again.
