The appearance was a fluffy burnt orange to brown color with a quickly dissipating head. No lacing.
The aroma embraces the normal Tripel qualities of: Belgian spice and sugars, bready sweet yeastiness, and then some subtle sweet blueberries for balance.
The flavor yields to the Belgian sweet yeasty side. Blueberries seem to fade in the background nicely. Slightly a rugged yeasty aftertaste with a smooth sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good. Gets somewhat sticky in the feel.
Overall, another nice beer by Burlington. These guys seem to be just getting better every day, tho, the aftertaste in this one may be a bit different more or less.
