Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a fairly light glossy yellow color with a sly transparency about it. Thin white foamy head dissipated evenly. Filmy speckling lace.
The aroma had some semi-sweet onion with a little bit of a zesty/spicy kick tickling a nice clean malt backbone. Light grassiness evenly flows in for a nice balance.
The flavor seemed to blend nicely between grassy and that zesty/spiciness. Onion moves in nicely, crisp and semi-sweet. Light dankiness. Balancing malt. Nice semi-sweet aftertaste and finish with a clean bitterness.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a clean moveable wet feel along my tongue. Good carbonation. ABV felt right.
Overall, I’d say this was a pretty good AIPA that I could crush on a hot Summer’s day.
