Thanks Jeff.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a handsome semi-dark red color with a slight transparency about it. Light carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace to fill a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a good pace.
The aroma had some grassy semi-sweet to bitter hops pulling in subtle tones of honey, and caramel/toffee malt.
The flavor leads with the sweetness of a nice blend between the grassiness, honey and malt level. Nice smooth and blended aftertaste strolling into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt appropriate as intended by the brewer.
Overall, nicely done amber ale worthy of having again and nice creativity to sweeten up with some honey.
