Thanks for the crowler, Mike!
Poured into a mug, the appearance was a semi-dark rugged brown almost black color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Light lace.
The aroma had some roasted tones, ample sweet to roasty coffee portions and a touch of sweet milky/lactose/creaminess moving in nicely.
The flavor copies the aroma pretty much spot on with a nice wet pillowy malty aftertaste rolling into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderately low carbonation and ABV felt good. Very smooth along my tongue.
Overall, nicely done milk/sweet stout well worthy of having again.
