This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a rugged semi-dark brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a good pace. Ample messy lace.
The aroma had a soft semi-sweet to roasty nuttiness up front and then some dark and sweet chocolate malts doing a decent job of balancing.
The flavor leans slightly to the sweetness. Nice blended roast to sweet aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, nicely done brown ale leaning towards the English side, slightly.
