This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a finger’s worth of off white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Moderate messy lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of sweet mocha, some milk chocolate, some nuts and just a touch of roast at the back end.
The flavor blends all of the previously mentioned aromas together fairly nice and brings in a light toast to play with the aftertaste and slide into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt appropriate and though a sweet stout, the balance of \"sweet\" seemed a bit more \"reserved\" than some other \"sweet stouts\" I’ve had.
Overall, wonderful dessert beer well worth my time.
