Thanks Jake.
The appearance was a fairly dark orange hazy color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off fairly slow. Some ringy foamy lace sticks around the glass.
The aroma had a nice blend of sweet grassy hops, light Belgian yeasty/breadiness, some bubblegum, candied fruits, orange pulp, and ends with a little bit of boozy pomme-like fruits.
The flavor definitely leaned towards the sweet side. Grassy hops seem extremely distant in the taste. Belgian sugary sort of orange pulpiness and light bubblegum in the aftertaste. Quick malty sort of sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Would have thought there might have been a little \"beef\" on the body with this one due to the style but I will say it’s pretty smooth and doesn’t really have the cloying effects that I thought we’re going to occur.
Overall, aroma and flavor are the best things about this beer. Yes, the feel seems somewhat good, but there needs to be just a touch more body to this one.
