Thanks Mike.
The appearance was a dark red almost brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Sly lace.
The aroma had some toast, cocoa, caramel/toffee, vanilla and nuts.
The flavor was basically towards the sweet side with a slight welcoming rich malty aftertaste flowing into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt good.
Overall, I’d say this is more of an English styled brown ale as I don’t see enough hops in it to be an American styled one. Still, worthy of having again.
