The appearance was a red to brown sort of color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Light lace.
The aroma centered around some caramel/toffee malts, some toast and some hints of honey. Slight earthiness on the back end.
The flavor was towards the sweet side with a subtle clean grassiness rolling over the malts in a nice way. Light honey in the aftertaste and a quick malty sort of finish.
The feel was between light and medium bodied with a nice sessionability about it. Nice smoothness along my tongue. ABV felt good.
Overall, pretty nice brown ale worthy of coming back to.
