The appearance was a nice looking semi-dark muddy brown color with a finger’s worth of eggshell white foamy head that softened nicely to leave some light stringy lace.
The aroma had some nuts, good roastiness, light milk chocolate and a touch of woodiness.
The flavor blended the sweet to the roast and kept a semi-refined sweet maltiness in the aftertaste flowing nicely into the finish.
The feel was almost medium bodied but sat just a touch underneath. Woodiness dried out the feel a little bit but not too much. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, pretty good brown ale, was worth my time and would get it again if I could.
