The appearance was an amber shade with a light transparency to it. Finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Mild stringy lace.
The aroma had some shifty leafy green sort of citrusy to piney sweet and bitter hops. Good arrangement of some light coffee, nut and caramel malts to do a good job of blending with this smell.
The flavor lent a hand to the sweet side taking the previously mentioned aromas to blend fairly nice to lead into the aftertaste and subside in the finish.
The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Hop abrasiveness is short and not distracting upon my tongue. Good carbonation and the ABV felt good as well.
Overall, very nicely done amber ale well worthy of having again.
