The appearance was a fairly dark brown close to black color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off pretty quick. Not much lace.
The aroma had some soft roasty coffee tones with a little bit of dark chocolate nibs biting at the end.
The flavor yielded to the roasty tones - coffee and dark chocolate and lead into the aftertaste and finish.
The feel was between light and medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt good. Pretty dry on my tongue.
S, decent porter trying to show some \"robust\"-ness but seemed more just roast that came a bit under. Maybe again.
