Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was muddy copper color almost brown with a thin cap of a little white head, not too foamy and no lace.
The aroma had some maple sweetness at the forefront intersecting some light caramel/toffee malts. Nuttiness was there. Slight woodiness.
The flavor leaned into the sweetness of the blend of the malts to the maple to the nuts. Aftertaste was maple and nuts. Brisk finish of nuts.
The feel was just a touch under medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Light carbonation. Good ABV.
Overall, nicely done maple syrup based brown ale that I would have again. Sometimes I get scared with these, thinking that they’re going to be cloying, but Binghamton did a good job of actually doing something to keep that down.
