Nitro pour at the brewery, looks good, thick black, creamy off white head. Nose is OK, mild perhaps, some malt and toast, a little molasses. Flavor follows, malt and molasses, perhaps hints of raisin and dark chocolate. Finishes creamy... but with a little briny pickle thing.

Bottle from Wine Harvest. Opaque dark brown color, massive brown head with solid lacing. Aroma of toasted brownies. Aroma of nutty burnt toast. Hi carbonation interferes with the flavor and the mouthfeel.

Draft at the source. Poured a dark brown, cloudy cola color with a small tan head. Aroma was some light chocolate notes, roasted malts. Flavor was roasted malts, dry almost light peat notes. Pretty good attempt.
