Sampler glass from the brewery.
The appearance was a hay burnt pale yellow to orange color with just a film of a little white foamy head that trickled down the glass as it fell off.
The aroma had some orange pulp sweet to glossy sweet and semi-zesty sort of grassy bitterness. Sweet dried leafy stickiness flowing over some damp floral hop quality.
The flavor was moderately sweet with the rolling orange pulpy juicy sweetness flowing over the herbal portion. Semi-smooth sweet orange to grassy sort of aftertaste riding into the finish.
The palate was medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it as I could feel the projected ABV and yes, it did feel as what the brewer said it was.
Overall, really nice DIPA that Burlington did pretty much everything they said they would in this beer.
