Sample glass at the brewery.
The appearance was a pale milky off cream-like orange color with a slim film of a little white head. Sliding lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of sweet peach to sweet (black, at least to me)raspberry, tartness was there, but slightly confined. Subtle grassy to citrusy qualities underneath.
The flavor was a super nice blend of the sweet to the tart of the prior mentioned fruits with the grassy and citrusy qualities falling further underneath. Aftertaste was quaint and not showing much pizazz from either fruit, somewhat the black raspberry. Finish was quick and semi-tart with a touch of sweet from the fruit.
The palate was medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Ample \"sour\" to \"tart\" to \"smooth bitter\" harshness moved along my tongue.
Overall, first one of the series that seemed to move towards a blend of a \"sour\" ale to an IPA. I liked it for me.
