Dunkel, feinporiger Schaum, in der Nase malzig, leichte Frucht, Nelke. Im Trunk leichte Säure, dann deutlicher Malzkörper, röstig. Bitterer Abgang.

35,5 cl bottle @ Timo A. Aroma has coffee and toffee. Foamy-ish palate. Flavour has ash, toffee, licorice and some pot coffee. Somewhat dry. Unusual dunkelweizen.

355ml bottle. Darkest brwon colour with ruby glimmer and average, foamy, fairly lasting moderately lacing, off-white to beige head. Slightly perfumed, floral and fruity hoppy aroma, hints of red berries and orange zest, underlying hints of banana, raisin, liquorice, a minimally smoky and ashy touch. Taste is bitter, fruity, minimally earthy, notes of liquorice, black currant, blueberry; minimally metallic finish.

Dark with a bright head. Malty and sweet with slight booze and fruit in the aroma. Medium bodied. Boozy heat, fermented/overly ripe fruit, malty, some chocolate. Decent.

Refrigerated 12 oz. squat brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Dark brown withsmalloff-white head. Aroma is nuts, medium/light body, lower carbonation, and a little lacing. Taste is nuts and dark malt. A thin dunkleweizen with brown ale characteristics, kind of bland.

22 Oz bottle poured. Pours a really dark reddish brown color with a big foam head and lace. Woody aroma with some roasted malt and dark fruit. Brown sugar and cinnamon flavor, and some nice toasted flavor finish. I enjoyed this one. Grows on me. Ton of flavor. Great beer.

Bottle. Murky brown with almost no head. Smells of sweet fruit and candy. Taste is copper, grass, and cherry.

Easy drinking and good enough for the style from what I know from my weak experience drinking dunkelweizens. Dark amber pour with OK head and lacing. Bottle from total wine.

Bottle courtesy of solidfunk, thanks! Cloudy amber brown color, bright tan head. Aroma of roasty caramel. Taste is sweetish. Caramel. Interesting.

Draft - Toast and some cocoa notes. Dark brown with a decent light brown head. Toast and light cocoa with a touch of peppery spice. Interesting and good.
