Stinnings Kaldi is the fourth beer from Bruggmiðjan. Stinnings Kaldi is an ale, fermented with English yeast. What makes this beer unique is the fact that we added the angelica herb to him. The angelica herb is collected in the Hrisey island and then worked and produced by Saga Medica. The angelica gives a slight liquorice flavour to the beer.

Old rating from 04-04-15 - 330ml bottle brought back from Iceland & poured at home in Jersey. It's clear amber with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, toffee, cereal, herbs, hints of spice & malt. Medium body. Dry herbal slightly bitter finish. Drinkable

Light herb in what tastes otherwise like an English pale ale. Orange pour with decent head. Some citrus. Angelica herb has a light earthy moss aroma like licking lava rocks. Bottle.

Small offwhite head. Clear brown body with light carbonation. Herbal floral aroma with caramelly notes. Dry, and delicately sweet, caramelly perfumy taste with floral notes. Mid-bodied. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish fruity cocos aftertaste with herbal notes. Interesting, unusual, delicate and drinkable. (0.33l bottle, from Vinbudin Kringlan, Reykjavik.)
