Une de ces bières où il faut vraiment aimer la réglisse - ici, le tout aura eu du mal à passer pour moi.
Brune, col épais café au lait crémeux.
Arôme sur un bouquet chargé en malts - chocolaté, léger vanille en support, réglisse est présente mais reste tolérable à ce niveau.
Palais est léger sur les malts - côté réglisse est assez élevé - retrait chocolaté avec une douceur de vanille que je trouve un peu trop en retrait et qui au final peine à trouver sa place avec la réglisse. Bière garde une base assez classique d'un porte macro avec cette finalité toffee-esque.

Smell of licorice, roasted malt. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of licorice candy, vanilla, some peat. Lively carbon. Very sweet, unnecessarily so.

Murky dark brown colour, medium-sized beige head. Nice dry licorice aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Flavour has berryish, sweetish licorice flavour. Full monty with licorice. Too sweet and overriding.

Almost black beer, a head is medium, thick and beige. Aroma has liquorice, roastiness and vanilla. Taste has liquorice, roastiness, some sharpness. Medium bodied. Very nice beer, the liquorice and vanilla are really there.

The beer poured near black in color with a thin off white head.
Thick layer of "kouvola licorice" and vanilla in flavor. Smooth mouthfeel ,bit sweet. Candy licorice. I like it.
