Birthday Cake is a decadent sour ale brewed to imperial strength to celebrate our 4 Year Anniversary here at Source Brewing!??

This tasty treat was crafted with pale barley and wheat malts along with flaked oats and milk sugar then fermented with a special lactic acid producing yeast strain.

Post fermentation, this imperial pastry sour ale was conditioned on heaps of Ecuadorian cacao nibs, juicy strawberries, ripe bananas, and creamy Madagascar vanilla.

Birthday Cake pours an opaque pinkish-red hue into a glass and radiates enticing aromas of chocolate cake, tangy strawberry, sweet banana, and creamy vanilla icing.

The rich, chocolatey flavors are followed by waves of strawberry banana which are met and balanced by bright lactic acidity, resulting in a subtly tart, super fruity finish.

We get notes of dark chocolate covered strawberry, banana split, and rich chocolate cake smothered in creamy vanilla icing topped with fresh bananas and strawberries.
