We’re excited to share our latest collaboration with our friends @burialbeer — Wolfgang, a Weizenbock brewed to showcase bold character, expressive fermentation, and thoughtful balance.
Drawing inspiration from both Burial’s bold approach to brewing and our mutual love of the Weißbier traditions of Bavaria, we set out to craft a wheat-driven bockbier that is as refined as it is robust. Wolfgang pours a cloudy amber with a persistent, fluffy off-white head, built on a rich malt foundation of @blueoxmalthouse malted wheat, Munich wheat, and roasted wheat. Aromas of toasted banana bread, clove, and hints of orange peel give way to banana and clove notes, coupled with hints of walnut and vanilla beans on the palate. A silky mouthfeel and bright effervescence carry this yeast-forward beer to a clean finish, making Wolfgang deceptively drinkable, even at 6.5% abv.
Our sincere thanks to Jay and Andrew from Burial for making the trek up from Asheville, NC, to the North Country to bring this special beer to life!

Can (1/14/26) from CBC Liquors, Westford. Deeply hazy, iced tea brown, nice sparkle, thin head with good retention, light lacing. Aroma is wheat, strong banana, bubblegum. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Wonderful banana and bubblegum.

A4 draught, 2/8/26.
Weizen yeast nose shows big, round, fruity banana and lesser notes of bubble gum and clove. All of this wheat keeps it soft and round with a hint of toast, honey and caramel. Feels quite authentic.
Fruity with honey-dipped banana and cream of wheat. Zesty bitterness is peppery without being harshly clovey. Sweet malt and rich wheat up front dries out slightly keeping the beer very drinkable. Really appreciate how bright and flavorful this is without the need for so much malt, alcohol or thick wheat and caramel.
