Can bought from the brewery. Dark and glossy brown stretching towards black. Frothy foamy tan head. Aroma is coffee led with a sour berry edge. Flavourwise it's has coffee and dark chocolate bitterness over molasses sweetness. Berry edge is more sweet than sour. Thick. Oily. Sticky. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Yummer.

Battered can that might have bust a seal, via the online shop. Pitch black. Oily pour. Slim ring of tan. Nose has earthy woody soft roasted coffee bean. Good hit of almond. Comes over toasted. Some bitter chocolate. Taste is a little sweet with an earthy dry coffee bean bitterness. Frankly preposterous that this is 14 odd % because it drinks like milkshake. Lingering moderate bitterness to finish. Impressive.
