Humble Braggot is the second collaboration between Cogstone Brewery and Antelope Ridge Mead. Being friends and neighbors, a collaboration between us was inevitable!
This version blends an english-style barleywine recipe with Hawaiian kiawe-blossom honey from the big island. Known for rich caramel and toffee flavors, this honey was a perfect match. Aged in a bourbon barrel to bring it all together, this beer/mead hybrid is a harmonious blend of flavors and talents.

500ml bottle, 2025 vintage. Floral honey aroma with notes of caramel, toffee, vanilla, bourbon and oak. Pours clear copper colored with a thin white head that has little retention and a thin ring of lacing. Starts with caramel, toffee and oak flavors as well as having a rich, full body and smooth mouthfeel. Finishes quite smooth with floral honey, vanilla and bourbon flavors as well as a good amount of warming booze at the very end. Excellent honey flavor and depth. Wonderful!
