Growler at RBWG ’15 Grand Tasting @ Coppertail, thanks to whomever shared this one, 21/02/15. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a moderate tan covering. Nose is roast malt, chocolate, toffee, light spice. Taste comprises chocolate, liquorice, hint ot BA, light spice, molasses, dark fruits. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok impy but lacking depth for the ABV.

Bottle shared during the RBWG 2015 Grand Tasting. Pours brown with a foamy tan head. Not great, really. Some mild tang, toasted bread. A hearty dose of tangy wood. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with tangy dark malts and wood, some smoke. Awkward.

Bottle at RBWG 2015 in Tampa, Grand Tasting. Dark brown color, beige head. Aroma of vanilla, roasty coffee grounds. Taste is sour coffee, not altogether good, but not overwhelmingly bad either. Not sure if the sourness was deliberate or not.
