This very original beer has a golden deep color and a slight hazy appearance, while the head is fine and persistent. It release a kaleidoscope of scents that blend into one, pleasant bouquet of fruity, resinous and woody notes, with a subtle touch of incense: a surprise each time the glass is brought to the nose.
The taste of cereals stands out and anticipates notes of apricot, hazelnut and honey. An explosion of tastes brought together by the freshness of ginger and slight hints of citrus fruits, before finishing with notes of spices and malt.

Flasche in einer Bar in Rom. Klarer Orange-Gelber Körper, viel Schaum, der schnell vergeht. Aroma: Moderat Malzig, Würzig, Frucht. Geschmack: Mittlere Süße, aber auch saure Note. Etwas Koriander und Honig. Normale Bitterkeit.

Bottle. Pours hazy orangeish amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aeoma of honey, malt, spices and yeast. Bitter, hoppy and her al flavour with notes of malt, fruit, caramel and yeast. Rough, estery aftertaste with botter and herbal notes and malty touches. Well-balanced and very nice.

I haven’t had a Baladin beer in awhile. Apparently this was made with Egyptian Kamut grain, orange peel and myrrh. Baladin Nora 7% Orange gold with a thick light beige head that does not linger for long. The aroma is reminiscent of a Belgian Wit with orange peel, ginger and chewy wheat (Kamut?). Full bodied, raspy carbonation and a big sweet orange marmalade flavor then ginger in the finish. Tangy sweet orange marmalade is a flavor I really wasn’t expecting, fun though I find the carbonation a touch abrasive.

330ml bottle into schooner glass. From Bel & Brio, Barangaroo. Nose is lightly perfumed grain. It's a hazy 'caramel sauce' colour. Thin creamy head which laces a little. Lots of interesting flavours, zingy and sweet ginger, doughy, malty, herbal. Nice, unusual and very easy to drink.
