Fles thuis geprobeerd, het is een troebel amberkleurig bier met een medium beige schuimkraag. Het aroma van geroosterde mout en caramel. De smaak is moutig, gedroogd fruit en hout. Jammer van de alcohol achtige afdronk.

Colour hazy amber brown, good frothy off-white to beige head, dissipating slowly. Aroma roasted malt, some smoke, caramel, dark fruit, candy sugar, wood, alcohol. Quite harsh flavour, light heavy sweet and medium maltbitter, roasted malt, caramel, dark fruit, alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, harsh and prickly mouthfeel, sweetbitter aftertaste, wood and boozy notes, not very satisfying doppelbock, too many rough edges, just decent.

6 3 7 3 13 Draft at The Hague Bock Beer fest. Hazy orange brown with an off white head. Aroma of veggies, caramel, vanilla and oak. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
