Enjoyed at the Rapp brewery stop of the rbwg2015 bus tour. Poured up on tap where it exhibits a nice mahogany colored body that supports a thin cool papery white head. The aroma offers up figs and dates and blueberry fruitiness with some malt sweetened roasted maltiness in the background. The taste is similar and a bit thin and mineral like and quickly picks up sweet figs and dates that sweetened up a thin chocolate malt note. It seems it could have a dash of earthiness to go along with the other notes. Still pretty nice.
