Comes together very well, especially for a barrel aged IPA, which usually annoy me. Some oak, lots of citrus hops still. Golden pour with ok head. Some sweetness in finish but mostly bitter. Thanks to Argo0 for a taste of this at Churchkey.

Keg at Cigar City Brewery, 21/02/15. Clear golden amber with a moderate off white head. Nose is light citrics, straw, red berry, malt, earthy hop, light spice. Taste comprises candied fruit peel, red grape, light woody wine notes, toasted malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok offering, never been convinced that IPAβs should be meddled with in the ways of wood, and still remain so !

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear copper body that supports an off white head. The aroma is peach and pineapple and pine and then big spicy oak mixed with vanilla and perfumy floral notes. The taste starts with sweet malts, tart peach blended pineapple and malt sweetened grapefruit. It then quickly gets into bold spicy oak notes and some vanilla. Pretty nice.

Draft - Oaky and light vinous with some pine. Clearish copper with a decent white head. Woody, light tannins and a very dry finish. Hops are there but hidden behind the wood.

Keg at the CCB tasting room during RBWG 2015. Pours Clear gold with a creamy white head. The nose holds ripe citrus, jammy fruits. Medium sweet flavor with lots of marmalade, dank orange, oily pine, some grass. Medium to full bodied, oily, with average carbonation. Resinous finish with lots more gooey citrus, some berries. Tasty but basic.
