Capt Bill was flying his sea-plane with a load of fine Columbian Cocoa back from the Bahamas when all hell broke loose as he entered the Bermuda Triangle. Mayday Mayday Mayday were the last words heard over his transmission. Today the wreckage lays in the deepest darkest depths of the see, where this dark, chocolatey, creamy concoction comes from. We honor Capt. Bill with this smooth 9.5% Imperial Porter. Expect a big chocolate flavor accompanied by a smooth creaminess achieved by the use of Lactose sugar in the making of this Porter.

Draft at Redlight Redlight the night before RBWG 2015. Black with tan head. Aromas of cocoa, dark chocolate, pepper skin. Tastes of dark chocolate, caramel, pepper skin, cocoa, roast. Medium body with a dry finish.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a nice very dark, almost black-brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma was roasted malts, with some dark chocolate notes. Flavor was nice, bold roasted chocolate, booze.
