Greenville Pale Ale is a traditional American style Pale Ale, rooted in the Pacific Northwest brewing heritage. The light colored medium bodied ale uses whole flower cascade hops with all natural two row barley malt. This produces a light Pale Ale that explodes with rich full flavor. This refreshing ale has an immediate floral-citrus taste that comes from using the cascade hops.

On tap at Twin Lakes, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a light earthy hop character and crisp biscuity malt base. Flavour is quite bitter, with bitter leafy, earthy hops and a toasted biscuity malt base. Very bitter and lacking body. Meh.

A little rough. Malt and some chemical tang. A bit of smoke like when you were a teenager busted by your mom. Dark brown pour with ok head. Some tang in finish. Tap at Philly airport.

Crisp, very slightly hazy golden coloured body with a very mild grassy and herbal flavour showing through with a big head. Aroma of grass, herbs, salt and quite a bit of mushrooms - all protein for me. Medium-bodied; Strong alcohol bite at first with a deep finish of grass and herbs. Overally, a nice light beer with some grassy and herbal notes and not much else. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Washington (Foggy Bottom), DC on 28-April-2015. ,

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a bright golden amber color with an enormous creamy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet, tangy and fruity with citrus and a bit of green onion. The flavor was tangy and malty with sour caramel, green onion and fruity hops. Long sour caramel and green onion finish. Medium body. Meh.

Johnny Brendaβs, Philadelphia tap: Pours copper with a white head. Aroma is mostly piny hops. Taste is much the same. Somewhat bitter, with an aftertaste of the same. Body is pretty light bodied. Not bad, but pretty forgettable.
