Really enjoy this one. Raisin and a hint of citrus. Lots of florals and some hint of almond. Hazy maroon pour with great head and lacing. Good all around, and perhaps the best rar beer I’ve had yet. Awesome. Tangy and sweet finish. Tap at whole foods.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a hazy caramel-brown color with a small foamy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sweetish and yeasty with toffee and a hint of ripe fruits. The flavor was malty with toffee, hints of tobacco and wood followed by faint golden fruits. Medium length finish. Medium body. Alcohol well controlled. Nice.

3oz pour at Max’s Belgian Fest 2016 pours a clear light brown with some white head. Nose has chocolate, brown sugar, molasses, some nail polish, raisin. Flavor has fig and raisin, brown sugar, candy, light booze, mild spice. Full bodied, sweet finish. Pretty nice. Good structure.

Draft at Meridian Pint. Clear ruby amber color, off white edge head. Aroma of lightly smoky burnt toast. Taste is light licorice, burnt caramel, burnt brownie. Decent.
