Bed of Nails is crafted as an American ode to a traditional English brown. A light hop addition balances the natural sweetness present in the specialty malt. This beer’s delicate body and dry finish allow flavors of toffee and dark fruit to shine through.

330ml Bottle at Paus Craft Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky medium brown colour with a thin off white head. The aroma is caramel malt, burnt treacle. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth, rich, sweet toffee malt, buttery, light plasticine, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Somewhat sweet and would soon become a little sickly. One small bottle was all I needed.

Tap at BD Brussels. Pours brown. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, toffee. Flavor follows the nose. Overall: good, just a style that doesn't excite me.

At a tasting, small stable bubbly creamy off white head, hazy pale oxidized brown color, aroma of raisins and brown bread, lots of dried fruits in flavor with a hint of chocolate in the back, light bitterness and a bit of liquor. Not too great.
