We wanted to capture the intense aromas and flavors of NE IPAs, but also make a beer that finishes dry and drinkable like a West Coast IPA with a bitterness in between the two. We built a West Coast IPA grain bill with 100% Arizona grains from Sinagua and Grain R&D. Citra in the whirlpool and double dry hopped (DDH) with over 4.5 lbs/bbl of Simcoe and Strata. Fermented with a neutral ale yeast to really allow the hops to shine. The aroma hits with ripe melon, danky pine and grapefruit peel. There is a little bit of haze from all those hops, and it finishes nice and dry. This is the first beer brewed on our system. Thanks for your support! Hello World.

Aromas are a touch old resin, citrus, tropical fruit, floral, curry. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose leaving out the resin and enhancing the tropical fruit and citrus. Maybe a touch of bubble gum. Goodbody and great carbonation. Nice beer overall.

Can from Tavour: pours gold with white head. Aroma is ample amounts of pine, plenty of grapefruit, citrus rind, hints of honeydew or something. Taste is moderately bitter, super bright, somewhat sweet. Really good.
