A rustic, amber Roggenbier brewed with Pilsner malt, spicy rye, silky oats, and a touch of Carafa II for color and depth. Gently hopped with Hersbrucker, it offers notes of bread, spice, and cocoa with a smooth, creamy finish.

16oz can looks sexy. Caramel brown, nice finger of beige foam. Nose has malt and brown bread, a little chewed bubblegum and some clove. Flavor reads more mild than rye. Treacle and dough, some clove. Finish is creamy and keeps you wanting to drink more. Some carob lurking. Good beer. True roggen? Dunno. 8 6.5 6 8 6.5
