Our sixth anniversary beer is here! This one is very exciting for us. First Press was an all stout blend, 50 gallons of that blend was re- barreled to be used in Second Press, solera style. Each anniversary blend swapped out one stout barrel for a barleywine/barleywine adjacent barrel. The re-barreling of 50 gallons, for solera blending, has continued each year as well. Sixth Press is all barleywine and it is stunning.

Bottle. Pours clear mahogany, minimal head or lacing. Aroma is rich, boozy, treacle, molasses, bourbon. Flavor is medium plus sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body, a bit hot.
