Sample at Kurtkeller 020: Stout-tastic 01 on 02/22/2015. Black pour with a medium beige head that diminishes steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Roast malt, oak, vanilla and coffee in the nose. Medium to full body with flavors of oaky bourbon, roast malt, vanilla and bittersweet chocolate. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.
