12oz can pours a murky black with some soapy, off white head. Nose is big with malt, soggy bread, cracked grains, some molasses, some licorice, a little coffee, a little baker’s chocolate. Flavor follows, chewy with malts, bread, toast, crackers, mild pepper, some chocolate, licorice, cola. Full bodied, sticky finish. Straight up, beefy stout.

Can, thanks to Dr.Fabulous. Pours inky black with small foamy tan head, mocha aroma heavy on coffee, medium carbonation, bitter chocolate-coffee taste with alcohol undertones, smooth body, long bitter chocolate finish. Quite nice, very fulfilling.

2016 can from Discount. Pours a deep brown to black with no head. Big cacao nose with milk chocolate, mint and blackberry notes. After a few hours some cinnamon comes out too. Well-balanced with a slightly chewy character. Hoppy bite on the finish with some coffee an chocolate. Really nice.
