Orangey yellow pour from Arlington bottle. Hints of honey and fruit. Not too bad overall.

12 oz. bottle. Pours an unclear, orange color, with a medium, bubbly, white head. The aroma is honey, cloves, pine, caramel, straw, and light lemon juice. Not very sweet, with a mild, crisp bitterness. Light to medium body, with a sharp and grainy mouthfeel. This is a crisp, musty, and refreshing beer.

Crisp, very slightly hazy golden coloured body with a glow of honey and a very thin, faint off-white head. Aroma of yeast, light grass and honey, some caster sugar and a bit of very light spices - fairly mild. Full-bodied; Rich honey flavour with a lot of yeast and bananas and a nice malty bite from wheat and flowers. Aftertaste shows a very polished yeast strain along with some nice sugars from fruit and honey and a subdued but noticeable grass and herb bite. Overall, a nice beer that doesn’t look so great nor smell amazing, but the taste is very elegant and reminiscent of a true belgie with a smooth finish showing relatively good complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop in Arlington, Virginia on 28-April-2015 for US$3,69 sampled at home in Washington just a few steps away on 25-August-2015.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run 5/29/15. Hazy golden, medium sized fizzy off-white head, decent retention. Aroma of pale malt, candi sugar, floral notes. The taste is herbal notes, tart fruits, candi sugar, caramel, cotton candy. Medium bodied, low carbonation, well balanced. Enjoyable.

Peach, green peas, shitty hay nose. Clear amber, medium head. Peach flavor with less of a vegetal quality, but it’s still there. Very subtle babyfood banana, presence. Drinks a little warm, full body.
