Deep gold and full bodied, Coritani is our classic interpretation of a strong English IPA. The marmalade notes of a fruity English yeast strain combine beautifully with a mellow bitterness and resinous hop aroma to make a resplendent beer full of richness and character.

Malt: Maris Otter Pale, Munich, Wheat, Crystal
Hops: Goldings

From tap at Thornbridge, 's Hertogenbosh. Aroma is floral-ish yeast, bready pale malt, soapy notes, caramel malt, soft hops, candied fruit marmalade. Flavour is sweetish and medium bitter. Body is medium. Very classic English IPA, decent.

19.02.2015, tap @ Schouskjelleren:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is kind of neutral, hay, leafs, wet grass, light malts, hops. Taste is dry grassy, weeds, bark, minerals, wet grass, hops, hay, light malts. Medium to longlasting bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Fair enough, just a little boring.

(Draught at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam, 23 Feb 2018) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of caramel, orange peel, black-currant and some resin. Malty, hoppy taste with citrus, orange peel, grapefruit, black-currant, crisp-bread and a generous citric bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Solid and tasty DIPA with lots of fresh hops and malt to back it up. Nice one.

On tap at Galbraith's. Pours orange. Pepper, very herbal, orange peel, quite floral, lots of caramel, blackberry, plenty more pepper and herbal stuff. Really pretty good considering my usual opinion of an English IPA.

Tap at Beer Hunters. Clear amber colour, small white head. Fruity, a bit berryish, grainy. Medium-bodied. Fruity, piney, grainy. Feels a bit old like the other Finnish raters say. Or maybe it is just English ipa?
