This is brewing the slow way – the right way – with a little help from time, wood, and a lot of care.
A carefully selected array of speciality malts comes together in this deeper, more contemplative ode to the Baltic Porter. Primary fermentation in cherry wood brings gentle structure and soft complexity before lagering.
Smooth and deceptively easy-drinking with dark fruit, hints of tobacco, toasted wood and burnt caramel.

Ayrshire Coastal Walking Mini Break Beer#39. The last beer of the mini-break before the final train home. A black porter with sweet dark malts, which go a long way in hiding its strength, but giving it a good body, and a fairly crisp feeling keg pour in this instance. A little gritty in taste, some might find this one a little rich in design.

On cask at Cafe Beermoth in Manchester. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a huge beige creamy head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, caramel, berry fruit action. Pleasant enough porter.
