90 Minutes IPA
Hooray, more friends have come to play at my house!
This time it was part of the great team from Hôp[i] , a very nice brewpub in Lille, who made the trip to brew up some good drinks with us.
For this occasion we wanted to pay tribute to the hoppy beers of the famous American brewery Dogfishhead and their 60, 90 and 120 Minute IPAs.
Since the Dijon brewery of @independenthouseofbeer released a 60 Minutes IPA the week before brewing this beer (maiheu…), we decided to push the envelope a little further with the 90 Minutes mode.
90 minutes of boiling during which we added Chinook and Simcoe hops every 5 minutes (yes it was annoying, but fun nonetheless).
Unsurprisingly, it's very angry, very old school as we like it, with a robust bitterness that coats the palate like wine!
In short, we hope you'll drink this beer faster than Billy Corgan changed bassists!
