Deep gold and full bodied, Coritani is our classic interpretation of a strong English IPA. The marmalade notes of a fruity English yeast strain combine beautifully with a mellow bitterness and resinous hop aroma to make a resplendent beer full of richness and character.

Malt: Maris Otter Pale, Munich, Wheat, Crystal
Hops: Goldings

Tap at Oluthuone Leskinen, Oulu. Colour is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, bitterness, hops and malts. Very British style DIPA. Not much fruitiness, low uninteresting hop profile and hard to drink. Very dull.

Tap. Greystones, Sheffield. Hazy, orangey amber. Thin, sticky, lasting white head. Fruity hop. Pineapple, mostly. Sweet, heavy malt. Some orange. Taste has initial sweetness, then gets fairly full bitter. Bit oily. The ABV is apparent. Finishes bitter, and somewhat dry. Tasty beer. A bit heavy, though, for me.

(Keg at Punavuoren Ahven, 20141220) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were herbalness, caramel, sweetness, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste had grass, glue and bitterness. A decent experiment but the aftertaste was unpleasant.
