355ml bottle at home, thank you very much Bob! Black with nice creamy frothy briwn head. Roasted malty and spicy aroma, herbal in the beginning, cocoa, chocolate and coffee, fruity - sweet apple, light alcohol. Sweet and bitter taste like the aroma, little more coffee than the aroma, dark chocolate, chocolate spicy cookie. Full body, oily to creamy with soft carbonation and long bitter chocolate aftertaste.

Draught @ The Stag’s Head. Dark brown with chocolate colored large creamy head, strong coffee beans aroma with a hint of cardamom, low carbonation, mocha taste laced with alcohol, abrupt finish with coffee aftertaste. A divine concoction!

Bottle at Avenue Pub. Very dark clear maroon color. Aroma of fruity espresso. Taste has Christmas spice, coffee, bitter cocoa. Tasty.

The beer is wall to wall black. The head is smallish, not too bad for the strength of the beer, and rather dark, maybe a medium brown. Lots of bubbles sticking to the glass. The aroma is big on chocolate and vanilla. Some cinnamon and nutmeg. Very mild on the pepper with this variant, just a little green pepper in the background. The taste is fairly sweet for Bomb. Very little pepper spice. Lots of vanilla. Some caramel and cinnamon/nutmeg. It’s still big on chocolate but not on the same level of richness as some bomb batches. Kind of has a woody, almost vegetal quality from the spice. Just doesn’t quite work for me somehow. It’s still tasty, just a bit sweet with this spin. Thick, soft feel.

Bottle courtesy of GT2. Pours oily pitch black with a rather small creamy mocha head that leaves some sparce trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is spicy and malty with roasted malts, burnt caramel, toffee, dark roast coffee, vanilla beans, bitter chocolate, cloves, cinnamon, burnt wood, hay, soil and alcohol. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, malty and spicy with roasted malts, burnt caramel, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, moist soil, minerals, burnt wood, cloves, cinnamon, cardamon and alcohol. Mouthfeel is fat, oily, round, heavy spicy and roasted astringent, tiny boozy and near full bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with roasted malts, burnt caramel, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, moist soil, burnt wood, cloves, cardamon and alcohol. Cardamon coffee imperial stout. Usually don’t like heavily spiced beers but this one pulls it off!

Draft at GBD. Poured a near pitch black color with a medium sized, long lasting, tan head. Aroma was a lot of bitter roast, some Christmas-like spices. The regular "Bomb!" was very tasty, and held a lot more compexity, despite probably containing fewer ingredients. I felt that this was just a bit too harsh, lots of bitter roast, some Christmas spices on the finish. Drinkable, but was expecting a lot more.

Bottle. Pours inky black with a medium dark brown creamy head that leaves great lacing. About perfect so far. Aroma is very roasty, dark chocolate, roasty malts, perhaps a hint of spice. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, roasty roasty roasty, bakers chocolate, some chili, not getting much from a spice front other than a bit of cinnamon. Full body, creamy.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with some smoked notes and some nutmeg is interesting. Taste is also dominated by some roasted malt with some smoked notes and quite bit of nutmeg and cinnamon. Body is full enough with a creamy texture and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Not bad but drinkability could be a lot better.
