12 oz bottle received as a Christmas gift from my wife. Bottled 11.01.2019. The pour is an opaque black brown with a very lasting one inch khaki head. The aroma is big cinnamon, nutmeg, roast malt a touch of soy and licorice too. The taste is dark chocolate, roast malt up front, then a big hit of cinnamon, some leafy earth and eventually some pine to the back. Dominant flavor is certainly cinnamon. The palate is heavy to medium bodied, viscous oily mouthfeel, lower carbonation and a pine roast and cinnamon finish. Manages alcohol well.

$7.99 bottle, WW. Absolutely black with a dark brown head that's as close to black on a head I've seen. Lovely aroma of cinnamon, sweet chocolates. Flavor is sweet (not cloying) chocolate, cinnamon sugar, caramel, molasses. Delicious.

12 ounce bottle. Opaque black pour. Roasted malt nose. Notes of burnt caramel, coffee, cardamom and cinnamon. Roasted malt flavor. Huge alcohol burn. Notes of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Lots of espresso and burnt sugar. Whoa, stop the clock. Go lay down.

Definitely a spicy beer. Lots of cinnamon, chocolate and malt with a light grassy presence. Long cinnamon finish.

Cocoa and nutmeg nose. Black, thin tan head. Dark chocolate, cherry, nutmeg, clove, allspice. Full body, easy carbonation. Nice use of spice, still stouty.
