We think we've built a pretty classic pub at Eastbound and now we've brewed the classic pub ale in Houndstooth Irish Red Ale. Pouring a bright coppery red with a thick white head on it this malty ale is perfect for any pub session. Roasted malts bring notes of caramel and toasted rye with a little touch of fruit from the Irish Ale yeast. Perfect for any season and best shared with friends in the pub or at home.

This red poured a deep amber colour with a creamy, tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include toffee, dark toast, a wee bit of coffee and cocoa and must. First swig was smooth, creamy with flavours of toffee, malt, toast and must. Finish is really malty with pure malt flavours lingering forever.
